Artwork Guidelines

Our online designer accepts both vector and raster images. It is best to upload vector files, such as, (*.pdf), (*.eps), (*.cdr), (*.svg) and (*.svgz) because they are scalable and easier to edit. We also accept raster images, such as, (*.png), (*.gif), (*.jpg) and (*.tif). If you upload raster images, optimum resolution is 300dpi at final imprint size.

Best Artwork for T-Shirt Designer

Upload Vector art in formats CDR, PDF, or EPS to the designer that contains nothing except the graphic you want printed. (No notations, backgrounds, registration marks, just the graphic.) You can then size it in the designer and you’re DONE!

These file types are vector and can be resized without any loss in resolution quality. They are also the best format for t-shirt and apparel screen-printing.

If screen printing, it is best to prepare the file using a Pantone spot color pallet so that we have no question about what colors you want printed. Vector files are also easier to prepare as separate ink colors and these file types usually do not incur any additional fees, where a png or jpeg for screen printing might.

Second Best Artwork for T-Shirt Designer

Upload a PNG file at 300dpi (final size) to the designer that contains nothing except the graphic you want printed. (No notations, backgrounds, registration marks, just the graphic.) You can then size it in the designer and you're DONE!

The png file type can be used for spot color screen printing, but may require some art time to separate the colors.

This file type is great for Digital Printing (DTG) and Full-Color (4-color process) screen printing.

Third Best Artwork for T-Shirt Designer

Upload a JPEG file at 300dpi (final size) to the designer that contains nothing except the graphic you want printed. (No notations, registration marks, just the graphic.) You can then size it in the designer. JPEG files WILL have a background. We will remove any obvious backgrounds and we recommend you mention it in the instructions.
